We got our sweet boy Angus from Angie, and he has brought so much joy to our family. Angie is very professional, kind and caring. We purchased Lexie on September 23, 2017, born to Tac and Bugzy. 3 months later, we purchased Oliver, Lexie’s half brother, born to Munchkin and Bugzy. Our Havanese, Jake, has been the best addition to our family. He turned one at the end of February. Jake is so loving and very intelligent . He has an amazing disposition and was easy to train. Our Shih Tzu, Oreo, is doing wonderful. She is now 7 years old (born January 2011) and has turned out to be an excellent lap dog. A couple of years ago, we got her a feline playmate, Skittles (now 2.5 years old). They get along very well, chasing each other back and forth, wrestling, and being curious together. Oreo loves people and she gets so excite, people think that she is still a puppy, especially when she is a bit scruffy looking. She is so sociable, that she pulls me up to peoples' porches during our warm weather walks, just to visit. Everyone adores Oreo.

This is Cooper at 4 months. He is a joy. He has made many friends and he loves all pets and people. He is a happy affectionate little guy. Potty training is still a work in progress but otherwise he loves his new home and I don't know what I ever did without him. Susanna Toronto

Hi Angie, Our bundle of joy is doing great. We have named her Sadie. She has help us fill the void of our nearly 19 year old Shih Tzu which we had to put down just a few days before getting Sadie. Our other Shih Tzu is 13 years old. It is amazing how a puppy rejuvenates an older dog. They spend a little time playing each day. We have had a tradition of naming our dogs with names beginning with the letter ‘M’, mostly unintentional I believe. In keeping with the tradition, we have nicknamed her ‘Monster’ Sadie because of her teething – she’s a bit of a piranha right now but it’s all good. She’s already learning to play fetch with a tennis ball bigger than her head. Thanks, Marc

Hi Angie; thought you'd like to know our title darlings are doing well.  We did change one name, when I received them Callie didn't fit, she is Coco for obvious reasons.  She is much smaller than Lily but great personalities.  Coco is the intrepid explorer outside but timid with people.  Whereas Lily is the reverse, loves everyone but hangs back and let's Coco lead outside. HI Angie, I wanted to share with you a few pictures of Lucy.  She is just the biggest joy in our lives.  She has the most amazing disposition and is such a little character.  She is incredibly smart, very easy to train and a big hit when she was in puppy school.  Apparently Havanese are really good at agility so my husband is looking forward to getting into that with her in the fall.  She was spayed this past week (she is almost 7 months old!!) and handled it like a trooper although she is less than thrilled about wearing a cone on her head! We spend every weekend camping and she absolutely loves it (not this weekend so she can recover).  I have included some pictures of her as a growing puppy and then after she got a puppy clip – she clearly had reverse highlights in her hair and now she is cream with dark ears and dark wisps in her tail.  We call her Lucy 2.0. We are so overjoyed with her that we are planning to get a second Havanese in the new year so we will be in touch in the fall.  I cannot wait to have 2 Havanese in our lives and hoping a new little girl will be as amazing as Lucy is!! Hi Angie....well our Molly Mae turned 3 years old this March and we just love her so very much. People cannot believe how well behaved she is. She can do many tricks and especially likes dancing and rolling over. We are attempting to get her registered for the St. John Ambulance Program as she is so very good with people and other animals. I take her to see my children's grandmother in a home in Markham, Ontario and the people there just adore her. She is loved by all the neighbourhood dogs....she has many friends. My baby, Caleb, turned 1 in February...and we cannot be happier! Ever since I was a little girl I have been a dog lover. I had dog friends instead of their human owners and I even received cards from dogs on my birthday. I was never able to own a dog because my mother is afraid of dogs, and my father (a dog lover)...is afraid of my mother. I vowed to myself (and often out loud) that as soon as I moved out of my parents' house, I would get a dog. And what if I couldn't afford a dog? Well, I would get a dog before I got furniture. Who needs a couch when you're cuddling on the floor with your best roommate? My dreams came true last April, 11 months after I signed my purchase agreement for my new home, when I miraculously convinced my mother to let a "grandfurbaby" into her house while I waited for my home to be ready. We're still not sure how or why she agreed, but it was fate. This litter was meant for me. After a quick Google search and very little research, I had an appointment to meet what would soon become the newest love of my life. Angie and Brian were so welcoming, comforting and patient while I asked every nitty gritty question about raising my first puppy. With Caleb in my hands, and his sister in my mother's, I knew I had to take the one licking my face home with me. 10 months later, he's still as loveable and playful as the day I met him. He gets into some mischief but he is well-natured, well-behaved and very easily trained. I had never heard of a Coton before (I even pronounced it incorrectly in the beginning) but I definitely recommend this breed for new dog owners. ...I still don't have a couch. But I have a best friend and a daily dose of kisses.

Dear PurdyPuppy, It is close to one year today that I left Purdy Puppy with this little dude. I named him "Santino" and he is a gem! He is beautiful to look at, a comedian at times but moreover, so damn loving. I am blessed. I thank you both. I have kept him long coat. How could I not with the chosen name of Santino?! Meet our Havanese, Gambino! After my childhood dog passed away it was obvious that our household was missing the certain love and affection you get from a family pet. My family and I could not be any happier with Gambino. With his 2nd birthday approaching, we feel lucky to have ended up with such a loveable, smart, sassy, energetic, and outgoing pup. Coming home to this handsome boy makes stressful work days seem meaningless.

Doug Gilmour and his wife Sonya came by our house this morning and left with one of our CKC Registered Havanese puppies. We are glad to see one of our Havanese go to such great people.

Emma and I just celebrated the one year anniversary of her coming home to live with me, and I can't imagine being without her. My parents and sister threw her a party with presents and a bone-shaped cake, which should give you an idea of how much she's loved by the whole family, and not just me. :) Emma is playful and affectionate and is, as I modestly tell everyone, "the sweetest-best-smartest-cutest puppy in the whole wide world!!!" Poochie was born in August 2013 and we adopted her a few months later, in November 2013. We are blessed to have her as part of our family. From the moment we were first introduced, her loving demeanour stole our hearts. She continues to love and be loved. Her favourite activities include going for a drive, and playing with her best dog friend Boomer (who also lives on our street). One day, Poochie visited me at work. As normal, she just wanted to be held and I continued to answer the phones.

Are family is very happy to have Rascal with us. The moment Rascal came home he acted like he owned the house. With Rascal in our life our family has really been laughing and having more responsibility. Rascal loves being with our immediate family and adores his best friend Nelly. After losing Bella, my beloved Shih-Tzu this year. I began looking for another one- of these most famed dogs. A very careful and deliberate search lead me too Purdy Puppy. My boy "Tonic" has been the joy in our life, he was born Sept. 20, 2013. I could not ask for a more lovable personality he enjoys all humans and is intuitive at knowing how to be gentle with babies and the elderly. He is equally intuitive with dogs large or small, young or old. He is a big boy, tipping the scale at 18 pounds...and it's all love and licks.

Although the family currently has a dog, Christopher missed out on most of the puppy experience due to his frequent hospitalizations. When Mrs. Fox learned more about Christopher and his wish she consulted with her family and they made the decision to donate the dog to Christopher. Hi Angie, We wanted to thank you for the lovely Shih tzu puppy we got from you on New Year's Eve. We named him Dexter and he is such a joy to have around. Well behaved and playful. We never thought we could love another dog after we lost our beloved Shih tzu Charlie last month after having him for nine years. However Dexter proved us wrong. LuLu is now 8 months old, she came to live with us at 8 weeks. When she came home she was already potty trained. She only had a couple accidents. She loved her crate. She only cried a little bit. She is wonderful addition to our family! It was hard to convince my husband to get her, but now he couldn't live with out her!!! We love our cute little puppy! We named her Daffy. Daffy loves walks, eating snow, playing with her toys and her yummy treats! Daffy is about six months and has already learned to sit and put her paw on my hand! She is adorable and just loves playing fetch! We love Daffy!

Hi Angie! I can't even begin to explain how much I love my little Bella. Everyday I come home from school tired, and my whole face lights up as I see her running to the door to greet me. She is a very intelligent puppy, and she knows where to go to the bathroom already. She even recognizes our voices and she knows to go to my mom because my mom is always making delicious food (even though she can't have any) She is a very playful puppy, and loves playing with the snake you gave us the best. He trained so fast I couldn't believe how easy it was. He is now 18 lbs and is as solid as a rock. He loves everyone, people, kids, other dogs, cats etc. We have yet to even hear him growl. I can not say enough about getting our puppy from Purdy Puppy. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the future. He has brought so much joy into our home and lives, our only regret is not getting a puppy from you sooner.

Hi Angie and Brian! Thanks for the e-mail to my mom and checking in on the puppy. I just got home from Ottawa last Saturday and I was excited to finally be reunited with the little guy. He is doing great, he is an amazing puppy and he's definitely entertaining. He just learned to walk down the stairs all by himself so that was a big accomplishment! He's really well trained, always goes to the bathroom outside (except for when he get's really excited, then there's no stopping him and whatever happens, happens haha). Here are a few pictures of him and we'll definitely send you more as the time comes. Hi Angie! Here is a pic of our Napoleon! This one is just after getting his first haircut! He is a big teddy bear! This tuesday he is getting fixed! :-( Napoleon is simply a real delight! Completely house trained, he is the friendliest dog I have ever seen! Everybody who sees him, loves him! He is super good with the boys and constantly gives them kisses. When Ethan, my oldest, practices his violin, he lays next to him and howls to the moon! It is the funniest thing to see! He loves sleeping on the back of the couch and enjoys eating fresh cut peppers! He does not beg for food when we are having dinner and still does not bark or cry AT ALL during the night! As you can see, we adore him! We are so fortunate to have him! Thanks again! Josée
